Shashwat Kumar is a Senior Software Engineer (Data Platform) with a passion for problem-solving and development. He has a strong interest in building web applications and ETL pipelines, and he enjoys contributing to open source projects. Currently, Shashwat works at Hypersonix as an SDE (Data Platform), where he focuses on product-platform backend APIs and customer-data ingestion pipelines. His tech stack includes SQL, Python, Fast API, AWS-S3, API Gateway, Lambda, EC2, Snowflake DB, MySQL DB, and Airflow. In his previous role at Fokalai as a Software Engineer (Data), Shashwat built ETL pipelines to pre-process raw-hourly streaming data and daily video catalogs for future analytics. He also created tools and utilities for data loading and ingestion, optimizing every decision. He built an entire web app, Machine Learning Experimentation Studio, for explaining a ML dataset problem, and a Data Exploration Studio for exploring and visualizing datasets. His tech stack included Vue.js, D3.js, Python, AWS Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and API Gateway. Shashwat holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from CMR Institute of Technology.
