Shashwat Shivam is a highly skilled Software Engineer with over 3 years of experience in the field. He is currently working at Samsung Electronics, Suwon, South Korea as a Machine Learning Engineer. Shashwat holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Shashwat has extensive experience in designing and developing high-performance software components and managing large-scale data processing pipelines. He is proficient in cloud-based high-availability applications and has a keen interest in DevOps and deployment pipeline automation. Shashwat has hands-on experience in building software applications and has a strong understanding of mobile and recommendation systems. At Samsung Electronics, Shashwat has added BI features to the data analysis dashboard to support sales and management teams. He has also dockerized existing deployed applications for better uptime and easy deployments/scaling. Additionally, he has set up and managed Kubernetes Cluster on the AWS Cloud Platform and shifted apps from standard deployment to the cluster. Shashwat has also set up Kafka along with Avro Schema Registry for low latency-compressed messaging service. Prior to his current role, Shashwat worked as an Executive and Overall Coordinator at DevClub, IIT Delhi. In these roles, he managed the maintenance of existing projects and took up new projects in DevClub. He also spread knowledge about open-source technologies and software development to new students and developed solutions to institute problems as part of DevClub. Shashwat is proficient in a wide range of technologies, including AWS, XGBoost, Kubernetes, Kafka, DevOps, Spark, and Scala.
