Shashwat Shukla is a Talent Acquisition Practitioner with over 3.6 years of experience in recruitment for both tech and non-tech roles across various domains like E-commerce and Fintech. He has managed staffing for some of the fastest-growing startups, including Tekion Corp, Delhivery, and Groww. Currently, Shashwat is leading the hiring for Tech/Engineering leadership roles at Jupiter Money Neo-bank, where he is working towards revolutionizing the banking experience in India. As a member of the Tech hiring team at Jupiter, Shashwat is responsible for sourcing and converting candidates through various means like job postings, referrals, self-sourcing, and agencies. He interacts with hiring managers and stakeholders daily, keeping them updated on the hiring progress. He reports directly to the Engineering and HR leadership of the company. Shashwat has worked on various roles, including SDE 1,2,3 (Backend & Frontend), Security Engineer 1,2, DevOps Engineer 1,2,3, SDE-4 (Backend and Frontend), Principal Engineers, Architects, Product Designers, Illustrators, Interaction designers, and Technical Program Managers. Shashwat has leveraged data to refine hiring tactics and form strategies to refine tech hiring in difficult times of offer decline. He has single-handedly hired and onboarded more than 30 people in the engineering team, 5 in Design, and many in various other functions in just six months. He has ensured a positive candidate experience and smooth onboarding, avoiding last moment decline due to lack of engagement. Shashwat is a sprint-wise approach in each and every new hiring initiative taken to keep up with the rapidly changing economic scenarios. Before joining Jupiter, Shashwat worked as an Associate Recruitment Specialist at Hirewizx Services, a bootstrapped start-up focused on tech staffing for early-age startups. He also worked as an Executive Program Coordinator at Flipkart, where he practiced strategic program management into various ongoing initiatives within Ekart's Last mile asset. Shashwat holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Human Resources Management from Amity University. He has experience in Software Engineering, Frontend, Backend, and DevOps.
