Shaswat Lenka is a passionate Software Developer based in India with a keen interest in Artificial Intelligence. He strongly believes that "Data is the Future" and aims to improve global healthcare through AI-based solutions. With a focus on patient-generated data, Shaswat is working towards building solutions that will revolutionize the way clinical care is provided today. Shaswat has worked with healthcare startups and product-based corporations to contribute to the collective purpose of improving healthcare. He is an open-source enthusiast and has contributed to several open-source projects, mostly on Biomedical and Health Informatics. He has also developed some of his own open-source projects which are under the purplepotion organization. Currently, Shaswat is working as a Software Edison Engineer at General Electric under the Edison Engineering Development Programme (EEDP). EEDP is a leadership program for freshers out of university to give them exposure to the industry. He has also worked with the Data Analytics team at General Electric on a project called Advanced Troubleshooting. He got an opportunity to improve the performance of ML models by creating algorithms for generating better training sets. Shaswat holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from NIT Rourkela, which he completed in 2020. He also holds a Higher Secondary degree in Science from Ravenshaw University, which he completed in 2013. Shaswat's tech stack includes AI and Software Engineering. With 2.60 years of relevant experience, he is a driven individual with a passion for using technology to make a positive impact on the world.
