Shaswata Chatterjee is an enthusiastic Mechanical Engineer with a high positive attitude towards problem-solving and a great fast learner. With over 4 years of relevant experience, he has good hands-on experience in CAD and CAE tools and has worked on some mini-projects. Shaswata is currently an Internship Trainee at Integral Coach Factory, where he has learned about on-site welding of Railway coaches. Shaswata has good knowledge of CAD tools like SolidWorks, CATIA V5, Creo, and Unigraphics NX in Part modeling, Sheet Metal, Surface, and drafting. He also has knowledge of CAE software like Ansys and HyperMesh. Additionally, he is good with the theory subjects Strength of Materials, Theory of machines, FEA, Production, and Thermodynamics. In the past, Shaswata has interned at Eastern Coalfields Limited, where he got exposure to the ongoing trucks and maintenance. He also helped in the maintenance of truck parts and got exposure to engine maintenance. At Goodwin Industries, Inc., he got hands-on experience on assembly and disassembly of engines of vehicles like Pulsar, Santro, Omni, etc. Shaswata holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical and Production Engineering from Sathyabama Institute of Science & Technology, Chennai, which he completed in 2020. He also completed his Higher Secondary education from Bidhan Chandra Institution in 2016 and his Secondary education from D.A.V. Model School, Durgapur, in 2013. Shaswata is seeking an entry-level position where he can use his skills and support and strengthen the design and development team while also learning more in the field. He is an aspiring Mechanical Engineer with great communication skills and is proficient in Python.
