Shatadru Roy is a Full Stack Developer and Software Development Engineer at Zomato, with a passion for competitive coding and debate. He is currently a final year student with proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and various frontend frameworks and libraries like Bootstrap and React. He is also experienced in visualizing libraries such as D3.js and Chart.js, as well as back-end technologies like Ruby on Rails, NodeJS, and Express, and both NoSQL and SQL databases. Shatadru is also proficient in C++, Python, and Ruby. Currently working as a Full-stack Developer at Amberstudent, Shatadru has worked on two major projects. The first project involved creating an automated property data fetch and update tool for constant monitoring of more than 150 properties using third-party APIs, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Node.js React, Ruby on Rails, and Google API. This project improved the supply team's performance and reduced an error-prone slow process of visiting multiple websites to update their properties into a single unified process. It also catered to the sales team's needs of sharing updated room and tenancy details to the customers. The second project involved working on three important components of the Amber product, including a revamped home page, search page with new design and filters, and new authentication systems (Google-One-Tap, Email-OTP). Shatadru emphasized elements like clean design, best coding practices, minimal CSS, improved page speed, and cross-browser compatibility. Prior to his current role, Shatadru worked as Vice President of Business Development at AIESEC, where he conducted the Youth Speak Forum as a part of a team of 7 members. He was responsible for several business partnerships with local companies and shops, cash and in-kind sponsorships, and also customer engagement. He ideated the entire flow of the event with the team. Shatadru holds a Bachelor of Technology - BTech degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT and achieved a 10 CGPA, 95% from South Point High School, Kolkata. His tech stack includes Software Engineering, Ruby, Javascript, SQL, AWS, NoSQL, Search, Frontend, Backend, and NodeJS. With 1.78 years of relevant experience, Shatadru is a highly skilled and motivated individual with a passion for coding and problem-solving.
