Shaurya Gupta is a highly skilled software engineer with a passion for building software and a particular interest in compilers and functional programming. As a founding engineer at RelicX, he has played a key role in developing the company's software products. Prior to this, he worked at Google as a software engineer, where he was part of the compiler release tooling team, automating compiler releases. He also worked as a software engineering intern at Google, where he added Extract to Variable and Extract to Function refactorings to Clangd, the C++ Language server, under the Core Languages group. Shaurya is a two-time ICPC World Finals participant and has a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Patna. He is proficient in several technologies, including Javascript, NodeJS, and Python, and has relevant experience of 3.53 years. Shaurya is also a Haskell enthusiast and teaches the language for fun, even at the cost of his sleep. He considers himself lucky to have briefly written Haskell and been paid for it.
