Shawn Khameneh is an experienced Engineer with over 11 years of relevant experience. He is a Rustacean, React Native & Typescript expert and currently works as a Lead Mobile App Developer at dll. Shawn is passionate about working in high-trust environments where leadership is aligned. He has a strong command of JavaScript and enjoys developing React & React Native applications with TypeScript. Shawn is constantly learning and exploring new technologies. Currently, he is learning Rust and playing with embedded/AIoT platforms like ARM/AARCH/RISC. He is particularly interested in memory safety and zero-cost abstractions. Shawn enjoys making things happen and has experience in various areas including App Development using React Native, FlowType, and VSCode Extensions, DevOps using Docker & Rancher, AppCenter, Azure Pipelines, and AWS CodePipeline, and IoT using BLE GATT/nRF/ESP, Platform.io, Keil, and WebSockets. Before joining dll, Shawn has worked as a Sr. Lead Engineer (UI) for Verizon at Creospan Inc. where he provided PoC's and solutions for business needs using React & React Native. He has also worked as a Development Lead (User Applications) at LBRY where he was responsible for leading multiple products and development teams, each consuming in-house software and chain. Shawn holds an incomplete degree in Computer Science from Western Michigan University. His tech stack includes Mobile, React Native, Typescript, AWS, Docker, Javascript, DevOps, Azure, UI, Senior Software Engineer, and Blockchain. Shawn is not open to contract or relocation opportunities.
