Sheena Garg is an accomplished risk management professional with over 12 years of experience in catastrophe modeling tools, exposure data analytics, implementation, and testing. She has worked with global leaders in the domain, including RMS Inc. and Swiss Re. Sheena is a graduate of globally reputed Premier Engineering schools, IIT Kanpur India, and Stanford University, USA. As an Assistant Vice President at Swiss Re, Sheena has worked extensively with large datasets and is an expert in data manipulation and extraction. She has defined various processes, best practices, and created tools and prototypes for automation in work to increase productivity and reusability. Sheena is passionate about working with analytical tools and is known for her analytical skills. Sheena has worked as a liaison between Modeling and Application Development groups to understand functional and technical specs and create & execute implementation test plans to certify the relevance of Risk models. She has also worked as a Modeler Intern (during MS at Stanford) at U.S. Geological Survey, where she was involved in numerical modeling of fate and transport of agricultural pesticides in the unsaturated zone for a joint project between USGS and EPA using VS2DT & Hydrus-2D. Sheena's educational background includes an MS in Env Fluid Mechanics & Hydrology from Stanford University and a B Tech in Civil & Environmental Engineering from IIT. She also holds a degree from Hartmann College, Bareilly, and has completed her primary and middle school education from Wynberg Allen School, Mussoorie, and St. Joseph's Academy, Dehradun, respectively. Sheena's technical skills include test and QA, and she has relevant experience of 21.05 years.
