Shehu Lawal is a technical data-driven Senior Product Manager with a passion for solving problems with technology using a Product Led approach. With about seven years of experience in various product and leadership roles in multiple sectors, he has a proven passion for developing innovative solutions that combine cutting-edge technology with a deep understanding of customers’ needs. He has an extensive background in both market research and Agile methodology. Shehu has experience in fintech, Health Tech, EduTech, Social Media, E-commerce, and PropTech industries and has managed distributed teams across the Globe for Saas and non-Saas products. He has practical experience managing and working with all types of Product development team members, including Business Analysts, Product Designers, Data and Web Engineers, Mobile Engineers (iOS, Andriod, and Native Engineers), and QA teams. He has led and coordinated the entire product-development lifecycle, including strategic planning, requirements analysis, QA testing, and product launches. His ability to ensure stakeholder buy-in and promote team collaboration allowed him to successfully launch more than six successful products created by global cross-functional teams. He has been praised for his sophisticated understanding of customer motivation and a knack for proactively addressing market shifts. Shehu has worked with the Data Engineering Team at Goldman Sachs Global as a Consultant in Product Management to drive the strategy and success of a new data platform for ESG DATA.
