Sheri Pyne is a Senior Talent Partner at McCain Foods, where she manages the recruitment for North America Human Resources, Finance, Legal, and Marketing along with Global Finance. With over 12 years of experience, Sheri is a seasoned professional in full-cycle recruitment, both campus and professional. She is passionate about building relationships and creating a positive impact on her community. Sheri is always on the lookout for passionate and driven individuals who can make a difference. She is a social media enthusiast and uses LinkedIn Recruiter, Twitter, Instagram, and Glassdoor to attract talent and build a strong talent pipeline. Outside of work, Sheri enjoys spending time with her kids, pets, family, and friends. She is a country music lover and enjoys attending outdoor concerts. She has a deep love for nature and enjoys spending time near any water body, be it an ocean, lake, river, stream, pond, or puddle. Sheri is also an avid reader and can get lost in a good book for hours. Prior to joining McCain Foods, Sheri worked with Geotab as a Talent Partner for Technology and Economical Insurance as a Talent Acquisition Partner for Technology Solutions. At Economical, Sheri led talent acquisition within the Technology Solutions team. She partnered with hiring leaders to deliver full-cycle recruitment, developed proactive sourcing and selection strategies, and acted as a strategic advisor to hiring managers during recruitment for permanent, contract, and co-op roles. Sheri holds a degree in Human Resources from Conestoga College.
