Sheshan Patel is a skilled Full Stack Developer with a passion for developing full-stack web applications using the latest technologies. He has a Master of Applied Computing from the University of Windsor and a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from L.D. College of Engineering. With 1.86 years of relevant experience, Sheshan has honed his skills in Java, J2EE, SpringMVC, ReactJS, NodeJS, ExpressJS, SQL, and NoSQL. Currently working as a Full Stack Developer at ESG Solutions, Sheshan is responsible for maintaining existing web-based software products and developing solutions in front-end ReactJS and back-end Java and NodeJS. He is an expert in building interactive UI and front-end logic using third-party libraries like Material-UI, ChartJS, MomentJS, and React-Bootstrap. He is also proficient in implementing stateless components using React-Hooks concept and maintaining app state’s in redux store for all data access. Sheshan is well-versed in supporting work on back-end hosted in Tomcat and NodeJS along with creating automated Selenium tests in Jenkins Pipeline. He is adept at creating use cases and workflows for feature improvements and optimizations based on client feedback on subsequent code. Prior to his current role, Sheshan worked as a Web Developer Intern at Communitech, where he interacted with clients to identify requirements, performed user research, and presented deliverable plans. He also designed website layouts and architecture across WordPress and Shopify to maximize user experience and SEO. Sheshan has also worked at KFC Canada (Yum! Brands Subsidiary) as a Customer Service Team Member, where he collaborated with team members to deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
