During his time at Qualcomm Inc, Shibin worked on the Android Frameworks/Platform team, where he contributed to the Android Operating System and designed software-upgrade solutions for smartphones running on Qualcomm chipsets. He also upstreamed a couple of patches to the Android Open Source Project, which is where the Android running on your smartphones comes from. After 4 years of hacking on Android, Shibin left Qualcomm to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Science, where he developed a keen interest in cloud services and infra. At UiPath, Shibin is working on the cloud-platform routing team, where he is responsible for developing highly performant enterprise-grade applications that use Cloud services. He is broadly interested in Systems (Distributed/Operating), Information Retrieval (the behind-the-scenes working of search-engines), Programming Languages, Compilers, and in general, writing scalable and reliable code! Shibin is passionate about algorithms, their analysis, and other theoretical aspects of Computer Science. Shibin is not interested in roles in Android, Operating systems, or Linux kernel, but instead, he is keen to work on Cloud Services/infra that are used by other application developers.
