Shifali Sharma is a skilled Full Stack Engineer with a passion for developing business logics for apps, debugging, and building CI/CD pipelines. She has a strong background in setting up software environments and assisting in the development of apps from backend to frontend. With over 4.77 years of relevant experience, Shifali has demonstrated her expertise in writing microservices for the backend of two apps from scratch, CHQ and Rival, which are available in the app store. Shifali's main stack includes Golang, Python, JavaScript, MongoDB, MySQL, Elastic Search, AWS (VPC, load balancer, subnet, auto-scaling group, S3, Redis, SNS, SQS, CloudFront), Jenkins, Travis, and Git. She has contributed to the development of two social gaming apps, Rival and CHQ, from scratch in a team of three backend engineers. Shifali has also developed various microservices using Golang and MongoDB, which communicate with the backend, and has debugged and resolved various backend bugs in the production environment. In addition to backend development, Shifali has developed web apps to be used by the internal team for automating tools such as game load automation for around 100 games and disputes resolution for the Rival app. She has also created the CI/CD pipeline from scratch for the production environment of Rival app and set up various services such as RDS, SQS, SNS, S3, Redis, etc., using AWS. Shifali has created MongoDB clusters in Mongo Atlas and tested auto-scaling in that. She has also set external APIs and SDKs such as sendbird for messaging and Voxeet for voice calls. Shifali has been the sole responsible person for managing the health of the production app (CHQ) and setting the production environment for the Rival app. She has occasionally debugged bugs in the Android app (CHQ) when needed. Shifali has also web scraped data for the game fields using beautiful soup (Python library) and automated various cron jobs using Jenkins or crontab in Linux. She has set up the environment in Linux to run ETL jobs using Pentaho and MySQL server. Shifali's past experiences include working as a Research Assistant in the Health IT lab at UMBC and assisting in migrating Keima Wireless Software from Amazon Web Service to Azure architecture.
