Shikha Varun is an experienced software developer with over 5 years of experience in the banking, telecom, and manufacturing domains. She is skilled in building robust applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices in an Agile and DevOps environment. Shikha has worked for leading financial and telecom organizations in the USA, where she has gained subject expertise in client-server technologies, Apache Camel, Apache Kafka, REST, Hibernate-JPA, Redis Cache, Junit, Python, and Kubernetes (Openshift). Currently, Shikha works as a Senior Software Engineer at EPAM Systems, where she is involved in the development and enhancement of microservices using Spring Boot and Java as part of system enhancement to migrate customers from one system to another. Her day-to-day activities revolve around the usage of tools and utilities such as STS, Postman, Swagger, YAML files, Git commands, Jenkins, and Red Hat OpenShift. Shikha is passionate about her work and likes to interact with new people to learn about different cultures and the tech world. She believes in continuous learning and self-improvement and has been trying to improve herself by learning from people and helping them in any way possible. Shikha has a Master of Science degree in Artificial Intelligence from Liverpool John Moores University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Machine Learning and AI from the International Institute of Information Technology – Bangalore, and a post-graduate diploma in advance computing from C-DAC. She completed her primary schooling from K. N. Kela High School, Nasik, and SSC from Happy Hours School, Akola. When she is not working, Shikha likes to spend time with her family.
