Shikhar Mishra is a final year undergraduate dual degree student majoring in Civil Engineering, minoring in Mathematics and Computing, and pursuing a micro-specialization in Artificial Intelligence and its Applications at IIT Kharagpur. He is passionate about applying his theoretical knowledge and technical skills in the field of Data Analytics, Deep Learning, and Artificial Intelligence to conflux the spheres of technology and innovation. With a relevant experience of 0.85 years, Shikhar has worked as a Data Scientist at Info Edge (Naukri.com), under the Seeker Search - Autosuggester Team. He built a real-time dashboard to monitor its performance and key metrics and implemented Autosuggester suggesting algorithms, working towards making it live. Shikhar has also worked as an Artificial Intelligence Intern at Datality Lab Limited, where he developed hand gestures and facial emotion recognition models for Moodie.AI, the world's smartest AI communication and presentation training platform. He has also worked as a Research Intern at the University of Nottingham Malaysia, where he worked on deep learning optimization techniques, popularly known as knowledge distillation, to reduce the validation error between the predicted value and the ground truth for the project titled Body Landmark Detection.
