Shiksha Rawat is a focused and hard-working computer science graduate student currently pursuing her Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She has a demonstrated history of effectively working in the tech domain through internships, open source contributions, hackathons, and personal projects. Shiksha is proficient in Python, C/C++, REST API, gRPC, Django, Docker, AWS EC2, Linux, and Data Science Libraries. Currently, Shiksha works as a Software Development Engineer 2 at Nutanix. She has previously worked as a Software Development Intern at Siemens, where she developed an end-to-end command line interface (C++ shell) on Linux to query 5+ databases, facilitated incremental access to 10GB+ sized databases, and implemented a logs-analyzer script with 10+ configurable command-line arguments. She has also worked as an Online Python Instructor at Qin1, where she mentored one-on-one 20+ students in the basics of Python Programming. Shiksha has a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from BIT Mesra, where she studied from 2017 to 2021. She is expected to complete her Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in December 2022. Shiksha is looking for a full-time role as a Software Engineer, where she can contribute to the best of her ability and also have opportunities for learning. She is a GHC '22 Scholar and is highly motivated to learn and grow as a professional. Shiksha is always open to new challenges and is eager to work with like-minded professionals.
