Shiladitya Gangopadhyay is a skilled and enthusiastic technology professional with a passion for problem-solving and creating engaging solutions. He is currently working as a Member of Technical Staff (Software Developer 2) at Oracle, where he is focused on the Oracle Autonomous Database - Serverless, Database Platform as a Service offering as part of the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, with a particular emphasis on Operations/DevOps. Shiladitya has a diverse skill set that includes expertise in C++, Python, Flask, Java, SQL, Linux, Shell, Jenkins, Jira, Docker, Oracle Database, MongoDB Atlas, SQLite, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. He is also interested in Web (backend) Development and Machine Learning. As a team player and self-starter, Shiladitya is sincere, hardworking, and possesses excellent communication skills. He has a proven track record of managing complex projects and delivering high-quality results. At Oracle, Shiladitya is responsible for Continuous Integration, Deployment, and Monitoring of ADB services, as well as total Service Life Cycle Management. He is responsible for maintaining the entire fleet of Autonomous Database service - across 25+ commercial regions, with over 70,000 Oracle databases, hosted on Oracle Engineered Systems, ranging from Bare Metal to Exadata (Quarter RAC, Half RAC, Full RAC). He also monitors the Service and Performance by developing and maintaining telemetry-based performance metrics using Python scripts and APIs and automates short-term as well as long-term tasks to minimize/eliminate human intervention and optimize performance. Shiladitya has a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, where he graduated in 2020. Prior to that, he completed his High School education in Science from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kolkata, in 2016.
