Shilpa Singh is a highly accomplished and enthusiastic professional with over 17 years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure consulting, DevOps, Programming, and Quality Engineering. She holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Applications and a General Management Programme for IT Executives from IIM Bangalore. Shilpa has filed a patent disclosure for a CIO dashboard for metrics presentation, determining change to the risk position dynamically. She is a Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift administration and an IBM Profession Champion 2018. Shilpa is currently the Director of Cloud Technology at Virtusa, where she is responsible for Cloud Solutioning, Project Management, Vendor Management, Team Management, Lean Implementation, Agile, Onshore/Offshore Model, QE & Automation, and Creative problem-solving. She has experience in meeting with sales and customers to understand problems and needs, developing technical solutions and pre-sales deliverables in support of customer goals for cloud implementation, migration, DevOps, and AppSecOps. Shilpa is also skilled in designing and architecting scalable, highly attainable, and fault-tolerant systems on public (AWS, Azure, IBM), private, and hybrid cloud platforms. Prior to joining Virtusa, Shilpa worked as a Cloud Platform Architect at IBM Cloud Business Innovation Center and as a Manager at Visa. At Visa, she successfully implemented Agile methodology and lean methodology for a couple of projects. Shilpa also won the 'Go Getter Achievement' award and implemented a strategy for higher ROI and the implementation of lean testing approaches, which increased efficiency by 70%. She has managed vendors from Infosys and has experience in managing offshore teams in India from the US and working in offshore teams from India. Shilpa has a diverse educational background, including a Master's in Computer Applications, a Diploma in Information System Management from Aptech, a Diploma in Oracle from Pentasoft, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
