She is a startup enthusiast and passionate about finding great people and matching them with high-growth venture capital backed start-ups. Shilpa specializes in non-technical recruitment, covering areas across the business such as marketing, strategy, business development, finance, and more. She has a proven track record of successfully finding and placing candidates in entry to leadership level roles. Prior to her current role, Shilpa spent 5 years in the mortgage industry, originating mortgage loans and seeing them through to closing. She was recognized for her hard work and commitment to customer service, winning awards such as "Best Customer Experience," "Extra Miler," "Icon of the Quarter," and "Star Performer." During her time at ANZ, Shilpa developed skills in mortgage underwriting, personal and business loan processing, loan and securities management, and creating SOPs for processes. Outside of work, Shilpa loves spending time with her dog, cycling, and experimenting with vegan baking. She is also passionate about living sustainably and is always looking for ways to reduce her environmental impact. Shilpa is a people person and loves meeting new people and learning new things.
