Shipra Jain is a technology leader and data science expert with over 13 years of relevant experience in implementing enterprise data solutions across multiple disciplines. Currently serving as the Principal Data and Applied Scientist Manager at Microsoft, she has a strong product and innovation focus. Her expertise lies in Enterprise Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Business Intelligence, and Enterprise Data Management. Prior to her current role, Shipra served as the Head of AI Customer Adoption-India at SAP, where she led the AI Frontrunner Team India managing a team of ML engineers and data scientists with a focus on stakeholders/partners enablement to implement intelligent enterprise scenarios. She was responsible for enabling enterprise customers to realize and scale their AI/ML use cases. Additionally, she led the full-stack development of niche data-science features like Explainable AI, Drift Analytics, Bias Detection for SAP AI platforms. Shipra also worked as a Senior Data Scientist at SAP Labs India, where she successfully led a team of data scientists and ML engineers, winning three major accounts for the APJ region on SAP Data Intelligence product in a short span of five months, along with many stakeholders' accolades. She championed customer-centricity and was awarded the Customers Centricity Champions award in Q3'20. Shipra holds an Executive Certification in Big Data Analytics from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Motivational Pathway.
