Shireen Shaikh is a sophomore at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani - Goa Campus, pursuing a Masters in Biological Sciences and Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. She is a highly enthusiastic individual who is passionate about exploring various fields and is particularly fascinated by the interdisciplinary nature of Biology and Engineering. Shireen is currently looking into the application of ML-DL in Biology, computational biology and drug design. Apart from being a student, Shireen is also an occasional writer. She has a keen interest in writing and enjoys expressing her thoughts through words. Shireen is currently working as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at igem competition. Previously, she has worked as a Core Member and Crew Member at nirmaan organization. Shireen's education history includes a Master of Science in Biology/Biological Sciences, General and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani - Goa Campus. She has also completed her schooling from St. Michael's School and Gowtham Junior College. Shireen's tech stack includes Research Scientist, Deep Learning, and ML.
