Shirshendu Mukherjee is a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer with over 8 years of experience in the field. He is proficient in Ruby, Rails, and Javascript, and has a passion for server-side development and APIs, having made full-stack contributions in most of his projects. Shirshendu took a sabbatical for personal growth in November 2018, during which he travelled all over India and gained various life experiences. Now, he is looking to structure the next stage of his professional growth through international experience. Currently, Shirshendu works as a Freelance Software Developer for Toptal. In his previous role as a Senior Software Engineer at Red Hat, he worked on the Open Source project named "Tendrl," where he was a senior contributor to the features and roadmap of the project. He also mentored peers on software best practices, helped hire and onboard good engineers, and encouraged best practices for code reviews, developer workflow, automated testing, devops, CI, and CD on the centos-ci and Github. Shirshendu's education includes a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Technology in Computer Aided Design and Automation, both from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. His tech stack includes Software Engineering, Ruby, Javascript, Test, DevOps, Ansible, Kubernetes, Microservices, Integration, and UI.
