Shishir Shetty is a highly skilled Senior DevOps Lead and Architect with over 15 years of experience in AWS Cloud, DevOps Implementation, and Linux. He possesses a wealth of knowledge in Docker Container Management and Kubernetes, and has extensive experience in setting up production-grade Kubernetes clusters in AWS using kops. Shishir has also worked on upgrading Kubernetes versions using kops and configuring autoscaling (both Pod and Node) in Kubernetes. In addition to his Kubernetes expertise, Shishir has experience in writing helm charts and configuring chart repositories (chartmuseum), integrating Datadog with Kubernetes for monitoring, and configuring Prometheus in Kubernetes. He has also worked on setting up Spinnaker pipelines for Kubernetes deployments. Shishir has strong leadership skills and is able to work efficiently in both independent and team work environments. He has worked with developers and QA engineers to design, test, deploy, document, monitor, and maintain applications and components. Shishir is experienced in managing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning on Linux production servers hosted on AWS cloud and datacenter. He is also knowledgeable in virtualization technologies like VMware, KVM/Qemu, Oracle, and Xen. Shishir's technical expertise extends to tools such as Kickstart/PXE for automated system builds, enterprise storage expertise including SAN, NAS, iSCSI, RAID levels, and LUN management. He is able to provide hardware and software recommendations to fulfill the needs of business initiatives. Shishir is also skilled in resolving incidents and problems within agreed service levels and in line with ITIL best practices. Currently, Shishir is working as a Principal Architect at Wissen, where he is responsible for DevOps, Kubernetes, AWS Cloud, Azure DevOps, Terraform, Docker, and Linux. Prior to this, he worked as a Senior Principal Engineer at Wissen and as a DevOps Technical Lead at FICO.
