Shiv Shankar Gogia is a seasoned InsurTech and FinTech professional with over 12 years of relevant experience. He holds a Master's degree in Computer Applications from Sikkim Manipal University and has completed advanced programs in FinTech and Financial Blockchain from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. He is also certified as a Usability Analyst (CUA) and a User Experience Analyst (CXA) from the Human Factors International (HFI). Currently, Shiv is working as a Freelance UX Consultant at Gogia Consultancy Services. In his previous role as AVP-UI/UX at OneInsure, he led a team of graphics, web, UX, SEO, and digital marketing professionals. He was responsible for in-house lead generation and customer engagement of new and existing clients via email, SMS, call, and WhatsApp. He also coordinated with external vendors for life and health insurance leads and was responsible for verifying the lead cycle from acquisition to closure. Shiv was instrumental in integrating POS API products with life and general insurers like Digit, Bajaj, Apollo, TATA, Cigna, and HDFC. Before that, Shiv worked as a Senior Manager UI/UX at OneInsure, where he planned and executed user experience design (UXD) projects from requirements elicitation to handover. He managed CX and UX for the mobile app, website, and POS. Shiv designed low, mid, and high fidelity wireframes for web and handheld devices and conducted usability audits on existing products to find out pain points and provide design recommendations. He was responsible for crafting use cases, information architecture, competitors analysis, persona, scenario, affinity diagram, surveys, sitemap, paper prototype, task analysis, analytics review, and ethnographic field research. Shiv's tech stack includes parts-of-speech, UI, integration, web, and research scientist.
