Shiv Gupta is a Chemical Engineer with a passion for Data Analytics and Neural Networks. He is currently working on Machine Learning by pursuing online courses and is fascinated by Neural Networks and learning the basics of computer vision. Shiv is a second-year undergraduate pursuing B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from IIT Madras and has a JEE Advanced 2016 All India Rank of 2519. Alongside his studies, Shiv is also getting exposure to entrepreneurship and getting the chance to meet high learning rate people. He is also getting used to electrical modules like signal processing parallel to his Chemical Engineering coursework. Shiv has used simulation software like Gazebo, Matlab, and ASPEN. He has also learned C language as a part of academic curriculum and did courses in C++, Python to help on, for the same. Shiv has cleared the fundamentals of some web-based development languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap too. Currently, Shiv is working as a Data Science Manager at Gyan Data. He has acquired and integrated information of the engineering domain and constructed a knowledge graph using ML Natural language processing model and NER Model. He has also created MatScholar knowledge graph for material science domain and people domain. Shiv has created NER model for simplifying customer support and optimizing search engine algorithms. In the past, Shiv has worked as a FinTech Internship at Fintech Council and as a Data Scientist at IIT Madras Research Park. At IIT Madras Research Park, he studied and evaluated the association between air pollution and pregnancy outcomes in a semi-urban district of North India specifically Haryana. Shiv applied Data science algorithm on geographical data by removing outliers & algorithms to integrate the concentration levels time-activity data. Shiv's Tech Stack includes Data Scientist, DevOps, ML, Neural Networks, Computer Vision, NLP, Python, Javascript, Search, and Web. Shiv has 3.86 years of relevant experience.
