Shiv Sharma is a highly skilled software engineer with 3.86 years of relevant experience in the industry. He is currently working as an MTS1 at Adobe while pursuing his Master of Technology in Computer Software Engineering from the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Kharagpur. In his current role, Shiv has worked with Prof. Vikranth Racherla on Android application integration for Laser profilometer. He has also developed an Android application to remotely use a laser profilometer which scans the wheel profile. Shiv has helped reduce the time for maintenance of train wheels by providing quick access to its profile. He has also applied searching criteria for wheels based on the train number and depo allotted for maintenance. Shiv has determined if the wheel needs reprofiling or not, from the results stored in serverless NoSQL server. Prior to his current role, Shiv worked as a Winter Intern at Linuxworld Informatics, where he worked on Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Spark Real-Time Streaming Integrated with BigData Hadoop monitoring using Splunk, Automation with Python & Ansible (DevOps) over RedHat Linux. He has also worked as a Hospitality Coordinator at JECRC, where he handled and organized a team to deliver hospitality needs for a 3-day event. Shiv has a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Jaipur Engineering College & Research Center. He is set to complete his Master of Technology in Computer Software Engineering from IIIT in December 2022. Shiv is proficient in various technologies such as Android, NoSQL, Integration, Ansible, Spark, ML, Hadoop, DevOps, and Python.
