Shiv Taneja is an Assistant Manager in the Global Strategic Hiring and Redeployment Team of Wipro, where he works as a part of the Campus Hiring and Engagement Team. With over 5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Shiv is responsible for end-to-end recruitment processes for campus programs, from requirement gathering to onboarding of candidates for MBA, Legal, and CA hiring across Indian colleges. He partners with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a positive new hire experience for incoming candidates. Shiv takes initiatives at campuses to improve Wipro's brand presence and make it a preferred employer for candidates. He understands market insights and creates engagement opportunities to increase Wipro's brand presence at campuses and promote it as an employer of choice for students. Shiv is responsible for hiring young lawyers and CA graduates for Wipro from the best legal and CA campuses in India. In his past roles, Shiv has supported Wipro's campus hiring program and partnered with Wipro businesses to attract the best minds from top B-Schools in India. He has designed a strategic framework for increasing gender diversity at leadership positions and analyzed various sourcing strategies being used in the organization for sourcing women candidates. Shiv has also looked at various traditional and non-traditional methods to increase the applicant count of gender-diverse candidates and performed gap analysis to improve gender diversity. Shiv holds an MBA in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from Xavier School of Human Resources (earlier XIMB HR) and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications from Amity University. He has ideated and launched B-Pro, the first-ever case study competition of Wipro across top B-Schools in India. Shiv is passionate about campus hiring and takes pride in providing the best learning experience to interns to make their experience more fruitful.
