Shiva Kumar Mohandas is a Chief Revenue Officer at BetterPlace Safety Solutions, a blue-collar venture that aims to serve the next billion people in India. With over 11 years of relevant experience, Shiva is a troubleshooter and fixer par excellence, with unique skillsets and experience working across industries and roles. He has been trained and had his skills honed by the very best, with his previous assignment being part of the Group CFO Office at Reliance. At BetterPlace, Shiva is responsible for scaling up the revenue in tandem with the company's quest to revolutionize the blue-collar workspace. He leverages his past experience in finance and strategy, both on the initiation and execution fronts across a variety of sectors, to achieve this goal. Shiva has a demonstrated history of working with C-suite executives from his career inception. Shiva's past experience includes working as a Team Manager and Executive Assistant to the Group CFO at Reliance, where he acted as a business analyst, in-house strategic consultant, and thought partner. He analyzed global peer group companies in various sectors, provided assistance in M&A activities, and generated associated analysis and insights. Shiva also supported periodic monitoring and review of various projects across all business segments as well as Group Treasury. He managed and ran the private equity book for the Group. Before joining Reliance, Shiva worked as a Corporate Credit Analyst at Axis Bank, where he acted as a relationship manager/regional credit in dealing with other banks, managing transactions, and running consortium meetings. He carried out sourcing and credit appraisal of companies in various sectors, including infrastructure, mining & metals, chemicals, engineering, and jewelry. Shiva was the sole banker in multiple overseas acquisitions and helped clients with deal structuring as well as financial and legal due diligence. Shiva holds a Post Graduate Program in Agri Business Management from IIM and a Bachelor of Technology in Agricultural and Food Engineering from IIT.
