Shiva Kumar is a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with over 8 years of experience in developing high-performance and scaling applications. He is currently working at Rapido, where he is responsible for the payments system that handles millions of transactions per day. Shiva is a full-stack software developer with expertise in Android, Javascript, and Java. In his previous role at V5 Systems, Shiva was responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining various projects that involved collecting and propagating data from IOT to gateways. He built a tool from scratch to monitor the health of IOT devices, including data collection, processing, and display. He also designed and developed some key functionalities like notifications, alerts, and device settings for V5 Gateway. Shiva also worked on enhancing and maintaining the public video monitoring app of V5 Systems. Before joining V5 Systems, Shiva worked as a Software Engineer at Persistent Systems, where he worked on creating dynamic reports on Powerschool platform using Javascript and jQuery. He also contributed to enhancing and maintaining a Java/J2EE enterprise application that allowed users to view/convert design files (from Solid Edge, Catia, etc.) and create quotations.
