Shiva Nunemunthala is a Computer Science undergraduate researcher at the Indian Institute of Technology, Indore. He is expected to graduate in December 2023. Shiva is a highly motivated individual with a strong interest in research and development. He is an incoming Software Development Engineer at Bluestone, where he will be utilizing his skills and knowledge to contribute to the development of innovative solutions. Currently, Shiva is working on XAI for TIRADS based thyroid nodule classification using texture exploiting descriptors. He has implemented custom Local interpretable Model-Agnostic Explanations to explain the model and is also working on SHapley Additive exPlainations, Grad-CAM, and a few other model-agnostic explanations. His research work has provided valuable insights into the field of XAI and has the potential to revolutionize the healthcare industry. Prior to his current role, Shiva worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Anastrat. During his tenure, he studied basic options theory and built analysis tools for combinations of options. He also implemented a data pipeline for transforming and enhancing real-time market data, created metrics to provide insights into trader performance and qualities such as trader aggression towards the market, and designed a real-time hedge matching algorithm for generic trade books. Shiva has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from IIT Indore and completed his MPC from VelocIITy Junior College in 2019. He has relevant experience of 0.43 years and possesses a strong tech stack that includes Research Scientist and Software Engineer. Shiva is a proactive individual with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for learning. He is always willing to take up new challenges and strives to deliver the best results.
