Shiva Seelam is a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer (SE III) at Quest Diagnostics with over 17 years of experience in the information technology and services industry. He is a proficient Java technical lead with expertise in Requirements Analysis, Project Planning, Execution, QA, and Deployment. Shiva has a strong knowledge of various technologies like Java, Spring Framework, Springboot, Oracle, Angular, MySQL Database, Restful, Agile Methodologies, AngularJS, Hibernate, Sonar, Jenkins, Git, and SVN. He also has excellent knowledge of CRM, Hospitality, Education, and E-Commerce domains. Shiva's notable achievements include implementing Spring Framework and replacing the old Java custom framework, which improved performance tremendously. He also implemented a process for both development and deployment, which saved a lot of working hours. Additionally, he provided different automated solutions to improvise on Customer Experience (UX). Currently, Shiva is working at Quest Diagnostics, where he is responsible for understanding the Billing Web core components, providing technical solutions based upon requirements analysis, preparing initial design, designing the quality system to improve performance, and developing components based on requirements. Before joining Quest Diagnostics, Shiva worked as a Senior Technical Consultant at Thomson Reuters and as a Java Technical Lead at Nano2Giga Solutions. At Nano2Giga Solutions, he was responsible for requirement gathering, analysis, designing, developing, testing, and implementing core components for sales compensation. He also prepared project management plans, provided project estimates, evaluated new designs and developments for overall quality and cost-effectiveness, and actively participated in the preparation of all related documents. Shiva holds a Master's degree from Osmania University.
