Shivaang Sachdeva is an accomplished Aerospace Engineer with a specialization in Wind Energy. He has over 2 years of experience in the field, having worked as an Aero and Load Specialist at Suzlon Wind Energy Corporation and as a Software Developer at Mocean Forecast, an early-stage tech start-up in the offshore sector. Shivaang is currently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics jointly offered by Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. He is also serving as a Placement Representative at the Indian Institute of Management. During his time at Mocean Forecast, Shivaang played a key role in the development of a tender tool to assist project acquisitions, transit module development and integration into core tools, FTP database management and integration with MO4 and Metocean server, validation of MO4 results with measurements, and documentation, testing, and delivery. At Suzlon, he worked on Aeroacoustic modelling, 3D and 2D CFD modelling, Wind Tunnel testing, and post-processing. Shivaang holds a Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Technische Universiteit Delft and a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the same institution. He is proficient in software engineering, integration, and testing and has relevant experience of 2.52 years.
