He has built several product engineering teams across domains successfully. Shivakumar has excellent stakeholder management skills and is a result-oriented staffing professional. He has led hiring in the most dynamic and competitive environments across products and services organizations. Currently, Shivakumar is the General Manager & Head of Talent Acquisition at Samsung, where he leads the talent strategy for hiring top talent in India, US, Europe, and Asia regions - Lateral, Campus, and Outsourcing. Samsung R&D Institute India-Bangalore (SRI-B) is the largest R&D Center outside of South Korea and a key innovation hub in the Samsung group. With the best of talent from India and overseas, their focus is on creating cutting-edge technologies across multiple areas of Samsung’s business that transform experiences of users both globally as well as in local markets. Prior to Samsung, Shivakumar was the Director of Talent Acquisition at Capgemini, where he combined, under one brand, a unique set of strengths from across the Capgemini Group. He has also worked as a Talent Acquisition Leader at BT, the world’s most established communications company employing 90,000 people across 170 countries. Shivakumar holds an MBA in Human Resources from Oxford College of Engineering, Bangalore, and a PGDHR in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from XLRI. He completed his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from DVS College. Shivakumar is proficient in AI and Mobile technology and has 15.37 years of relevant experience. He has a proven track record of building and leading high-performance teams and delivering results in the most challenging environments.
