Shivam Arya is a final year Mathematics and Computing undergraduate student at IIT, Guwahati with a passion for software development and problem solving. He has earned a reputation for his exceptional coding skills, with a 4-star rating on Codechef and expertise on Codeforces. Shivam is a firm believer in producing clean, efficient, and correct code, especially in an age where software errors can result in massive damages, both human and material. Currently, Shivam is a Software Engineer at Mastercard, where he laid the groundwork for the development of a data-driven decision-aiding dashboard that analyzes the threats and opportunities presented by localization and micro payments. Prior to this, he was a Core Team Member at Alcheringa 2021, mentoring a team of 10 executives charged with bringing in the capital for the festival. Shivam has also worked as a Corporate Relations and Marketing Executive at Alcheringa, where he was part of a team of 25 executives charged with bringing in a sponsorship amount that constituted a significant portion of the overall budget of the largest festival in the North East. Shivam is proficient in C, C++, Javascript, and Python. He has relevant experience of 1.86 years in the field of software engineering. Shivam is a firm believer in continuous learning and spends his leisure time on various competitive programming platforms, honing his skills. He is an active member of the tech community and has participated in various hackathons and coding competitions. Shivam is a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic.
