Shivam Batra is a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with nearly 6 years of relevant experience. He is currently working at Ula, a leading ordering pod in the engineering team responsible for the development of workflows and processes related to Order Creation and Order Fulfilment. Shivam has owned over 3 microservices to manage Supplier, Procurement, Inventory, and Order Management systems. He has also led the development of the Inter Warehouse Transfer System created for Ula Warehouses. Prior to Ula, Shivam worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Compunnel Digital, where he developed core functionalities such as Listing, Offer, and many more services to achieve a scale of over 7 million transactions in a day using AWS Lambda, Dynamodb, and MySQL. He also streamlined the integration of marketplaces to the application using modern deployment practices for CI/CD using AWS CodeBuild, CodePipeline, and CodeDeploy. Shivam improved the overall robustness of the system by revamping the logger service with JSON support to integrate with Splunk. He led the whole application setup for the China region and developed the resources for Alicloud. Shivam also worked as a Full Stack Engineer at Hub9, where he wrote the back end for Hub9 (app1.hub9.io) - Inventory Management Software. He designed and wrote REST APIs for mobile clients and worked with different Marketplaces APIs such as Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, Woocommerce, and Etsy APIs. Shivam was solely responsible for all the Analytics and Market place payment reconciliation and worked with Snapdeal payments, Paytm Payments, Flipkart Payments, and Amazon payments APIs. He designed and wrote the Billing module, which includes the implementation of Razorpay. Shivam holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from Manav Rachna University. He is proficient in AWS, Python, Microservices, CI/CD, Javascript, Django, Docker, MySQL, Azure, Integration, Web, Typescript, MongoDB, Spring, Mobile, and Backend.
