Shivam Dubey is a professional software engineer with over 3 years of experience in building scalable applications that serve high volumes of traffic using the latest technologies. He is currently working as a Web Development Lead at Apple, where he is responsible for developing and maintaining software applications. Prior to joining Apple, Shivam worked as a Software Developer in the Web Tech Frontend core team of Paytm. During his time at Paytm, he developed the complete Ola App from scratch, which is now live in the Paytm Mini Programs section of the Paytm App. He also developed a web portal (Mini Apps Panel) to be used by Mini Programs Team to manage and configure all Mini Apps. Shivam has also worked on a project with one more developer to develop Paytm App from scratch as a Packaged app for KAIOS based devices. Shivam has experience working in a fast-paced environment as an individual contributor as well as a team player. He is proficient in using appropriate data structures and algorithms, which helps in finding the most optimal solution to the problem statement given. He is majorly worked on Javascript, with minor work experience in Java and Python as well. He has the ability to learn and grasp new languages and technologies in a short span of time as per the requirement. Shivam has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Chemical Science & Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati. He is also proficient in a wide range of technologies, including Javascript, Reactjs, Vuejs, Redux, Nodejs, Microservices, Spring Boot, Spring, and AI. He has built three React-based web applications and a Spring Boot application in the backend with Microservices architecture with two other developers during his time at Virtusa. He has also created different React Components (UI Components) and Spring Boot Microservices to handle their data in the backend. He has exposed these microservices as Rest Web Services and integrated these services to React components. He has used Redux in all the React apps for uni-directional data flow from services to React components. Shivam has also created API AI (DialogFlow) and IBM Watson virtual assistants and trained them to handle Telecom specific user queries as per clients' requirements. He has integrated these Virtual Assistants with React Applications and created UI to enable chatting with these assistants.
