Shivam Dubey is a highly skilled Software Engineer with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi. He has over 3.79 years of relevant experience in the industry and is currently working at Google as a Software Engineer in the Google Search team, where he is involved in building one of the most widely used products in the world. Before joining Google, Shivam worked for 2 years at Goldman Sachs as an Analyst in the Data Platforms team. During his time at Goldman Sachs, he contributed significantly to developing a Flink-based data pipeline, which serves as the only source of data inflow to their stack in the new world. He also designed an architecture across their DB2 store to enforce Fine Grained Access Control by tweaking the data model, setting up jobs & APIs to get credentials per user, adding views/indices as per use case. Shivam is proficient in Java, Python, Spark, Kafka, SQL, Hadoop, and has a strong background in software engineering. He has developed a user-friendly Integration Testing Framework for the Flink EDM Pipeline, which acts as a crucial piece for quick debugging and certifying any change across the complete pipeline. Apart from his work, Shivam enjoys playing football, badminton, and table tennis. He is also a talented writer and has a blog where he shares his work.
