Shivam Garg is an experienced Engineering Manager with a strong background in cryptography, HSM, and cloud technologies. With over 13 years of experience in developing real-time systems in the security/embedded domain, Shivam is currently working as a Technical Engineering Manager at Thales India R&D Center in Noida. Shivam has a proven track record of managing 10+ engineering teams and developing microservices in Golang. He has a strong command of developing Linux applications primarily using C language and has extensive knowledge of cryptography and Payment HSM (payShield, Luna EFT). He has led Luna EFT and payShield development teams and has experience in embedded system software development. In his current role as a Software Engineering Manager at Thales, Shivam is responsible for managing and developing hardware security modules (HSM) used in payments and general-purpose domains. He manages their compliance with PCI HSM, APNL (APCA), and FIPS certifications.
