Shivam Gupta is a skilled and curious Senior Software Engineer with over 3 years of experience in progressive web technologies such as React.js, Redux, JavaScript (ES6+), and Flux. He is passionate about learning and expanding his skill set. Currently, Shivam is a part of the Progressive Web App (PWA) team at Times Internet's B2C product, Dineout, where he follows Agile methodology. He has taken ownership of revamping the Table Booking flow and Restaurant Ratings & Reviews module with fresh and improved UI and latest standards. Shivam has a proven track record of success in delivering high-quality software projects. In his past role as a Software Engineer at Magic Software, he was part of the core team that developed a Content Authoring Platform for a US-based publishing giant from scratch. He refactored several core modules with the latest tech stack and ES standards which significantly optimized the performance and user experience. The platform is now being used by over 1000 authors. As a Frontend Developer at Diro – Internet Original Documents, Inc, Shivam worked in a startup environment and built the Diro KYC extension for the Safari browser. This extension takes screenshots of documents in the browser, converts them into PDF format, and uploads them into the server. Shivam holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from JSS and completed his PCM with CS from SRDAV Public School. He has expertise in Javascript, Software Engineering, ReactJS, Redux, Web, UI, Frontend, and NodeJS. With almost 5 years of relevant experience, Shivam is a dedicated and skilled software engineer who is always eager to learn and apply new skills to his work.
