Shivam J Baria is an experienced Engineer with over 9 years of relevant experience in the industry. He is currently working at Eaton Corporation as an Engineer in the M&S CoE, where he specializes in Finite Element Analysis of different products from Electrical as well as Mechanical components to predict the fatigue life. In addition, Shivam has organized Eaton Graduation Day and presented a speech on "Proud to be an Engineer" in front of the entire EIEC (Eaton India Engineering Center). Before joining Eaton, Shivam worked at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where he served as the Institute Masters Representative. As the representative of 2000 masters students, Shivam was a member of the Senate, the supreme body governing academic matters of IIT Bombay. He also established and led a team of 21 comprised of EM, AURAA, and Web Nominee, and planned and executed PG Orientation 2013 for 1200 PG Freshmen, with Academic Section and Dean Offices. Shivam also pioneered initiatives like Departmental Handbook and Orientation Quiz, initiated the data collection of Passing out PG Batch 2013, 2014, and led initiatives like Software Learning Courses and Research Promotion Programme. He established and managed a team of 150 at Techconnect as Techfest Manager in Techfest 2014 and introduced ACC, PG Internship, POR Session, Poster of rules, Tagging, and RFB for the first time. Shivam holds an M.Tech in Design Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where he specialized in Mechanical Engineering Department. He is also a Research Scientist and has experience in Web and Senior Software Engineering. Shivam is a passionate and dedicated professional who is always looking for new challenges and opportunities to grow and develop his skills.
