Shivam Jain is a skilled Backend Engineer with a passion for innovation and technology. He has formal experience in a fully bootstrapped fintech start-up in stealth mode, where he developed POC and modules for Natural Language Processing (NLP) stock screener using Python and NLP fundamentals. Shivam is adept with Python, its frameworks, and libraries, and familiar with SQL and NoSQL databases. He has also worked on projects in the area of NLP and has achieved better precision than OpenAI's GPT3 based implementation. Shivam is an extremely curious individual who loves to translate data into insights and insights into actionable work items. He is always eager to learn new technologies and try them out. Apart from this, he has been exploring machine learning using Python. Shivam is passionate about the amalgamation of innovation with technology and aspires to do more in this area. Currently, Shivam is working as a Software Engineer at researchfin.ai, where he has contributed significantly to the development of various modules and features, such as Pivot points detection, Gaps detection, and Oliver Kell’s trading strategies, using Python and its libraries. He has also designed and implemented the first version of paper trading setup for the product using Python and MongoDB. Shivam has contributed to chart patterns detection pipeline using Python, which runs through the price data for each stock every day and identifies the pattern(s) formed. Prior to this, Shivam worked as a Sales Development Representative at Softwaresuggest, where he generated over INR 1.5 million in revenue by creating a sales pipeline of over INR 5 million. He has also worked as a Student Trainee at Applied AI Course. Shivam holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from Lovely Professional University. He has also completed his XII and X from Weidner Memorial Sr. Sec. School. Shivam's tech stack includes Software Engineering, Python, Backend, NLP, Pandas, SQL, ML, NoSQL, and MongoDB.
