Shivam Kamboj is an Applications Consultant at IBM with over 3 years of relevant experience. He completed his MBA in General Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Udaipur in 2020 and holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi. During his MBA, Shivam gained valuable experience in various domains such as Marketing, Operations, and Strategy. He also developed a strong understanding of business fundamentals and honed his analytical and problem-solving skills. Prior to joining IBM, Shivam worked as a Summer Intern at Roquette where he conducted a market study to evaluate the economic viability of launching a retail pack of corn starch. He also identified the potential market for the same. Before that, he worked as an Engineering Trainee at Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram Thermal Power Project, Haryana Power Generation Corp. Ltd. where he learned about the working of a thermal power plant and analyzed various stages of water treatment before using it for power generation. He also performed coal analysis at the Demineralisation Plant of DCRTPP, HPGCL. Shivam's educational background and work experience have equipped him with a diverse set of skills including project management, data analysis, and market research. He is a quick learner and has a strong work ethic. He is also a team player and enjoys collaborating with others to achieve common goals. In his current role at IBM, Shivam is responsible for providing technical solutions to clients and ensuring the smooth functioning of applications. He is passionate about leveraging technology to solve complex business problems and is constantly exploring new ways to improve processes and enhance customer experience.
