Shivam Kumar is a highly accomplished Finance Director with 14 years of experience in partnering with global, regional, and market level organizations in the CPG and FMCH industries. He has worked in both the UK and Asia and has a proven track record of delivering effective results in cross-functional, cross-cultural, and cross-country matrix organizational setups. Shivam is a CIMA-qualified professional with college education in pure and applied Mathematics. Shivam's biggest learnings have come from being thrown into different roles throughout his career, which has enabled him to develop a deep understanding of the business and its stakeholders. He is a result-oriented individual with excellent communication and leadership skills, which he flexes depending on the stakeholders and the problem at hand. Shivam firmly believes that good Finance partners transcend functional competence and have a deep understanding of the business they partner with, can distil insights and succinctly communicate them both internally and externally, and collaborate and build winning teams. Currently, Shivam serves as the Finance Director for Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, and KL Manufacturing Site at Haleon, where he has been making a meaningful difference to business and people performance. In his previous roles, he served as Segment Finance Partner/Controller - APAC at Haleon and Region Finance Partner/Controller - APAC at GSK Consumer Healthcare. Shivam holds an MSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science, a Strategic Decision and Risk Management Certificate Program from Stanford University, and a B.Math from the Indian Statistical Institute - Bangalore. He is confident that with his background and experience, he can make a positive impact in organizations at different stages of maturity.
