Shivam is an experienced software engineer with over 8 years of hands-on experience in Java, Hibernate, Dropwizard, and MySQL. He is currently working as a Software Development Engineer at Flipkart, where he is responsible for developing REST APIs using Dropwizard and Hibernate. Shivam has also worked on various flows of Customer Experience and developed a highly scalable microservice that is used to get the list of probable issues related to the customer or order. He is also responsible for maintenance of the rule engine, scheduler, and data backup to cloud for CX. Shivam has knowledge of Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Hbase, and Kafka. He is inquisitive about technologies/products that can change the dynamics of traditional systems. Shivam has previously worked as a Yatri at Jagriti Yatra and as an intern at Zeotap. At Zeotap, he managed AWS resources of the company and built a Python tool to monitor the spending on each cluster and database per hour. He also migrated the code of the company's major product Intelligent Mapper from PHP to GOLang and built a Python tool to get the details of the hardware and software installed for MacBook. Shivam holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He is skilled in AWS, Big Data, Microservices, PHP, Javascript, and Python. Shivam is a research scientist and has relevant experience of 8.20 years. He is a quick learner, team player, and has excellent problem-solving skills.
