Shivam Sharma is a seasoned Director of Software Engineering/Strategy with over 17 years of relevant experience in the industry. Currently, he is leading an awesome organization of passionate engineers at Walmart Global Tech India, where he is responsible for building a distributed cloud platform to solve some of the critical and complex business cases. He manages a team of over 100 engineers and ensures that they work towards the common goal of delivering high-quality products that meet the needs of the customers. Prior to his current role, Shivam worked as an Engineering Leader at Walmart, where he led a team of over 55 engineers who were striving to build a distributed cloud platform to solve some of the critical and complex business cases. He was responsible for ensuring that the team delivered high-quality products that met the needs of the customers. Before Walmart, Shivam worked at Intuit, where he was a Group Development Manager. He led an amazing team within the Intuit Data Fabric (CTO-DEV Org) group at Intuit India Development Center, which was responsible for building real-time, cloud-based, highly secure big data warehouse platforms that were used by various Intuit BUs to store, process, and analyze data. These platforms were on the leading edge of the current technology and helped drive key customer benefits across the tax, accounting, and personal finance products at Intuit. Shivam holds a Leadership Development Program degree in Organizational Leadership from the Indian School of Business and an iLead, Executive Program, Business & Strategy degree from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. Shivam is highly skilled in Data Warehouse, Big Data, and Senior Software Engineering. He is a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and communication skills.
