Shivam Sharma is a Big Data Developer at Deutsche Bank with a passion for computer science. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology. However, his interest in technology led him to explore various domains like Software Development, Big Data Development, Machine Learning, and Blockchain Development during his college days. Currently, Shivam is working as a Senior Analyst at Deutsche Bank where he is responsible for working on big data transformations and ETL pipelines for the communication surveillance team. He is highly skilled in using Spark and Hadoop to onboard data to Solr index using Java and Python for development and Oracle database to store the structured data. Additionally, he has worked on the Search UI application used by business users to find alerted messages based on certain filters using Angular for frontend and Java Spring Boot for backend. He has also worked on a synthetic data generation application which used CTGAN and made the preprocessing pipeline to distribute data in categorical and continuous columns and created personalized metrics to find the similarity of the generated synthetic data and displayed them visually for the ease of understanding. Shivam is a highly motivated individual who is adept at handling various responsibilities by prioritizing his tasks, establishing clear deadlines, and finding creative solutions to eliminate obstacles. He has been a part of an agile team, and his experience has equipped him with the necessary tools to succeed in adversity.
