He is currently the DGM - Furniture Category at Wakefit, a leading online furniture retailer in India. In this role, he is responsible for coordinating diverse teams and resources to achieve business objectives and owns the P&L for the furniture category. Shivam has a proven track record of streamlining processes, operations, and maintaining schedules to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and business revenue. He is skilled in business development, channel development, partnerships, and alliances for business growth. Prior to joining Wakefit, Shivam was the Director of Business Development and Operations at iService and GoTango in Bengaluru and Delhi. He developed partnerships and alliances for revenue growth and built a strong supplier network in multiple cities for effective sourcing. Shivam co-founded and led GoTango.in, a consumer electronic repair startup, where he set up operations in Bangalore with a team size of 10+. He created a B2C brand “GoTango”, servicing over 10,000 B2C customers and generating 2.5 crores in revenue. He cracked multiple business clients like Zomato, Grofers, LetsTransport, Enel, Xoxoday, etc., for their IT hardware procurement/maintenance. GoTango was later acquired by iService, a Blume Ventures funded startup operational in multiple cities. Shivam is an engineer from National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur, with a degree in Computer Science. He is constantly seeking new challenges and opportunities to further his career.
