Shivam Singh is a third-year computer science engineering student at Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology (MAIT) with a passion for web development and competitive programming. He is currently working as an SDE Intern at Upgrad and a Major League Hacking Fellow. Shivam is a skilled problem solver, having solved over 600 problems related to data structures and algorithms on platforms like LeetCode and CodeChef. He is also a TCR at InterviewBit and a problem setter at CodeChef. Shivam has completed several projects in web development, using MERN stack, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, JSX, React, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, Firebase, SQL, Automation, Web Scraping, SocketIO, and Git/Github. He has also completed internships with Upgrad, Spark Foundation, and Lets Grow More as a software developer. Shivam has participated in many open-source programs and hackathons. Apart from his technical skills, Shivam has a strong educational background in computer science. He has studied core subjects like Database Management System (DBMS), Object-Oriented Programming System (OOPS), Operating System (OS), and Computer Networks (CN). Shivam's previous work experience includes working with the Study Abroad team at Upgrad, where he converted foreign rates to INR, made API calls to fetch conversion rates, and built a single sign-in and up page to collect only standardized data. He also worked on extending the scroll functionality of the menu bar, reducing the bounce rate from 40% to 25%. At The Sparks Foundation, Shivam worked on payment gateway integration (RazorPay), which improved user satisfaction from 40% to 65%. He also designed a successful and failure payment redirected webpage and revamped the website's UI. Shivam is proficient in C/C++, Java, and JavaScript and has relevant experience of 0.36 years. He is an Infosys Certified SP and an MLH Fellow '22. With his skills, experience, and passion for programming, Shivam is a valuable asset to any team he works with.
