Shivam Singhal is a highly skilled Sr. Technical Lead with almost 6 years of experience in backend development. He is currently working at Paytm and is responsible for some of the most critical modules of the Fastag system. Shivam has a proven track record of building scalable and robust systems. At Paytm, Shivam is leading a team of engineers in the Fastag Issuer Vertical which deals with the toll transactions and issuance of new tags to customers. He is also an SME for the transaction(switch) and the dispute modules which currently handle approx 2.5M transactions a day across various toll & parking plazas and take care of the deduction of money from the customer’s wallet. In his previous roles at Paytm, Shivam has been instrumental in driving the development of the transaction manager module of Fastag Acquirer System, which is responsible for calculating the fare for a toll/parking plaza transaction. He also conceptualized and developed a central common module which is responsible for pushing the custom metrics, request/response logging, etc. in an automated way without writing duplicate code in individual modules. Shivam has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from Delhi Technological University (formerly DCE). He also holds a 12th Class degree from Seth Bhagwan Dass Sr. Sec. School, New Delhi, and a High School degree from St. Mary's Academy, Meerut. Shivam's technical expertise includes Senior Software Engineer, Backend, and Software Engineer. He has a total of 7.20 years of relevant experience and is known for his good analytical and problem-solving skills.
